Build Green

Mt. Sterling is recognized as a certified leader in building green homes. Green or sustainable building is the practice of creating healthier and more resource-efficient models of home construction, operation, and maintenance. At Mt Sterling, we can help you incorporate green aspects into your home throughout the building process. We believe when buildings are designed and operated with their life-cycle impacts in mind, they can provide great environmental, economic, and social benefits.

Some components of green building include the use of:

  • Products made with salvaged, recycled, or agricultural waste content.
  • Products that conserve natural resources
  • Products that avoid toxic or other emissions
  • Products that save energy or water
